WEARING: ZARA BLAZER | STEVE MADDEN BOOTS
If I took an Instagram poll right now, I’m not that positive how many people would say they’re excited for the cold. Honestly, it’s hard to even break it to myself. But on the brighter side of things, I have no doubt that a lot of us are just thrilled about the fall fashion. I mean how can you not? Hello, fall is the epitome of every single reason why we, meaning I, love fashion. Layering of all sorts, boots, the coziest knits that can practically be used as blankets…it’s makes the heart skip a beat just as much as a Bath & Body Work Leaves candle. You feel me?
To bring more joy to the fact that summer’s over, I’ve rounded up my absolute favorite styles that I’ll for sure be wearing all fall season long!
FALL STYLES I’LL BE WEARING
A classic for any time of the year although in my opinion their greatest style moments are in the fall. The layering options are endless.
Where would a girl be without her Dr. Marten’s? Not just for the incredible practicality (especially for the brisk weather), the utilitarian style is badass and edges up any outfit with no effort.
I know you’ve already seen countless posts on social media about this iconic print, but it’s a rage for a reason. Leopard was big last year and it’s coming back again with full force. Leopard will forever be considered a neutral, so if you haven’t gotten on the leopard wagon yet, I highly recommend you do.
If you know me, you know I love my heels. Lately though, I’ve found myself gravitating towards either sneakers or a modest heel. Kitten heels are the happy medium for me and my feet. They’re chic, fresh and will instantly elevate your outfit (pun intended).
The layered look is my jam and this obviously includes my beloved dainty gold necklaces that I wear religiously. I just did a blog post sharing my favorite spots to find some to-die-for pieces. As I start to wear cozy turtlenecks and mock necks, these dainty details will still be hanging around my neck.
No color is more flattering than a gorgeous pop of red. The hue is eye-catching and makes a statement without being too much. What perfect way to introduce the fall season than with this festive hue?
Coats are obvious layering must-haves for sweater season. If you live anywhere north, you know fall can be pretty unpredictable and deciding on what’s enough to wear can be tricky. Wearing light, long coats such as a duster or trench can be the right amount of bulk
Start the season with a bang with these seasonal staples! What are you most excited to wear this fall? I need to know!
